What began as an April Fool?s Day joke has been made a reality as a company in the US is making a stout with one very special ingredient.

Many a good idea is created in jest and that has certainly proven to be the case for a brewery in Colorado. The good people at Wynkoop Brewery released this video on March 30 trumpeting their latest creation, Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout.

The very special brew was allegedly made with bull testicles, as the video graphically shows, and was due for release on April 1^st. With Rocky Mountain Oysters being Colorado slang for bull balls, and with that unique release date, it was a pretty good joke.

But since the video was released, the lads at the brewery were inundated by people who wanted to try the beer and who thought it was great idea. So, from tomorrow, a real life Rocky Mountain Oyster Stout, made with real-life bull testicles, is available to buy.

With 25 pounds of balls in every eight-barrel batch, the makers claim it gives the brew an ?extra texture?. You cand find out all you need to know, and lots of stuff you probably didn't want to know, right here.

We bet it does have a lot of 'extra texture' but if the nice folks at Wynkoop want somebody to test the Irish market, we?re sure we can find someone to give it a go in JOE Towers.
